The Board of Directors would like to make you aware that the Department of Water Resources will be releasing their Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) early this week for the Delta Conveyance Project (tunnels). Documents for federal review of the project will be provided later this fall. This plan will have a direct impact on the Delta where we hold most of our club events.  

We encourage you to stay informed of the project and take any action you feel is appropriate. A good resource to stay informed that has links to the various groups, letter templates and contact information for government officials is https://www.restorethedelta.org/

Please stay informed and reach out toyour government representatives with your opinion about this project while they are collecting public opinion.
